Ordering

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion.

Orders may be placed through our website only.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate order details, including product selections, allergen notifications, delivery information, and contact details.

Order Refusal Clause

Cinnabear Sweets reserves the right to refuse service or decline orders for any reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, inappropriate requests, or violation of these Terms.

Cinnabear Sweets currently does not accept custom orders and will only bake what is listed on our website's menu.

Holiday & High Volume Order Policy

During holidays, seasonal promotions, or periods of high demand, order availability may be limited.

Cinnabear Sweets may implement:

Orders placed during holiday periods are considered final once confirmed due to the high volume of preparation required.

Pricing/Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.

The final order total may include applicable taxes, delivery fees, or other charges depending on the order and delivery location.

Payment

Payment may be required in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed upon.

Orders may not be prepared or scheduled until payment has been received.

While we do accept tips/gratuities, no order shall ever have a forced gratuity. All tips/gratuities are given freely by the customer.

Chargeback and Payment Dispute Policy

By placing an order with Cinnabear Sweets, customers agree to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with their payment provider.

If a chargeback is filed for an order that was successfully delivered, or otherwise fulfilled according to our policies, Cinnabear Sweets reserves the right to provide order documentation, delivery confirmation, photographs, and communication records to the payment processor as evidence of fulfillment.

Customers who initiate fraudulent chargebacks may be restricted from placing future orders.

Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

Cinnabear Sweets operates as a delivery-only bakery. We do not offer in-person pickup. All orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer, and someone must be available to receive the order at the scheduled time.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or other circumstances.

Unattended Delivery Policy

Once an order has been delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer. Additional terms regarding perishable goods and product responsibility are outlined in our “Perishable Goods, Delivery, and Shelf Life Policy.”

Perishable Goods, Delivery, and Shelf Life Policy

All baked goods are perishable and made fresh to order in a home kitchen environment. Cinnabear Sweets operates as a delivery-only bakery, and all orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or other circumstances. Customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the order at the scheduled delivery time.

If the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery, Cinnabear Sweets may, at its sole discretion, leave the order at the delivery location if it is deemed reasonably safe to do so. Once an order has been delivered, including unattended deliveries, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer.

Cinnabear Sweets is not responsible for damage, loss, spoilage, or reduced product quality resulting from:

  • Delayed receipt of the order

  • Improper storage or handling after delivery

  • Exposure to heat, cold, or other environmental conditions during or after delivery

Because our products are made fresh without added preservatives, we recommend consumption within 3–4 days for best quality, provided the items are kept properly stored and sealed.

Customers are solely responsible for promptly receiving, properly storing, and handling all products according to recommended guidelines after delivery.

Delivery Confirmation

Cinnabear Sweets may photograph delivered orders or retain delivery confirmation records for verification purposes.

Force Majeure

Cinnabear Sweets shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to fulfill orders due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, power outages, supply shortages, transportation issues, or other unforeseen events.

Service Area Limitation

Cinnabear Sweets operates exclusively within a limited region of New York State. We do not offer delivery or services outside of New York State, including but not limited to New York City, Westchester County, Yonkers, or Long Island. Orders placed outside our service area will be declined or canceled at our discretion.

Delivery Area Policy

Cinnabear Sweets delivers within a limited service area. Orders outside the delivery zone may be declined or canceled. A delivery fee of $5.00 applies for addresses located outside a five-mile radius of Cortland High School, Cortland, NY. While delivery beyond this radius may be accommodated at our discretion, we reserve the right to decline or cancel any order we deem too far outside our service area.

Product Appearance

Final products may vary slightly in appearance, decoration, or color from photos, inspiration images, or previous examples because all products are handmade.

Social Media Clause

If you tag or submit photos of our products on social media, you grant Cinnabear Sweets permission to repost or share the content for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise.

Photo Use Clause

Cinnabear Sweets may photograph products for portfolio, website, or social media use. We will not publicly share personal customer information without permission.

Allergies and Ingredients

Our products are made in a home kitchen that may process common allergens.

Customers are responsible for reviewing our Food Safety and Allergen Disclaimer and informing us of any allergy concerns before placing an order.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that all products are made in a home kitchen environment that may process common allergens including wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame, and that Cinnabear Sweets cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Responsibility for perishable items transfers to the customer once delivery occurs, including any unattended deliveries completed under our Unattended Delivery Policy.

Refunds and Cancellations

Orders are subject to our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Customers should review that policy before placing an order.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cinnabear Sweets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or consumption of our products.

Customers assume responsibility for proper handling and storage of baked goods after delivery.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the scheduled time. Orders left unattended are not the responsibility of Cinnabear Sweets.
